“Hey, Xander? It’s nice and ripe, ain’t it?” “Sure is, Xeak."

Xapper opened his eyes and found himself floating in space again.

Xapper sighed then he told Broadway and Little Defiant, “Xeak says I should eat it.”

Xapper and company gathered what supplies they could carry. It would take them most of the day to find the place and dig up Wilma.

Xapper sat up, his eyes were heavy and his head throbbing. He found himself back in the keep and he was on a pink japanese futon.

Xapper stared down at Broadway as she stayed huddled in a corner. Her rifle was at the ready but not pointed at him.

Xapper and Little Defiant spent the next two days thinning out the undead from Redmoose. They still had not found any living survivors.

Drill Sergeant Xapper was a normal military man one week ago. Then he was cursed to eat rotting flesh. Then a zombie outbreak happened.

Xapper stared in awe. A little girl hid behind the crates of MREs. She stared back at Xapper with big and wet eyes.

Xapper slowly walked to the graduation ceremony. He had no control over his body.

As Xapper slept, his mind fell into a memory. It was only a few years ago when his daughter graduated from the University of St. George.

Sergeant Xapper awoke from a horrible nightmare with his stomach growling. His eyes were heavy and his face itchy.

Sergeant Xapper went back inside his hut. The chaos outside as the screams of soldiers and the groans of zombies continued.
