The neutral face sums up my mood lately. ( : I )

Have you ever been so exhausted that you’re just delirious and not of this world anymore. Well, I’m feeling that right now. My day job keeps giving me hours which I really cannot say too much about because I am saving what I can now. And I’m grateful that I can save up, given the state of the world overall and the uncertain future that lies ahead.

Anyway, I do have some light good news. I wrote two chapters for my current writing project, I believe they were chapters 9 and 10. I’ll just call the project DotNO, which I love it when abbreviations of titles make such funny acronyms. I’m grateful I had time to write something and the focus. Most of the time lately, I’m too tired to focus on anything, even the anime I’m playing in the background.

Beyond writing two chapters in a writing project, I haven’t gotten around to doing anything else. I’m writing this in the evening on 5 / 6 and I am hoping to update the website so the Stories page has the links for the blogs. It's going to be interesting seeing all the links to the blog chapters for “Your Dreadfulness Lines with Mine” and “Zombie Xapper” all laid out on their respective pages. And yes, as of writing this entry, those blog stories are posted in full, both with their chapters and “Author’s Afterthoughts”. So, enjoy!

You know? I should come back to these stories in the future, like a year after they fully post and do a follow up “Author’s Afterthoughts II, the Thoughtening” or something goofy like that. December seems like such a long time ago now and I’ve plum forgotten most of what happens in these stories. I remember enjoying writing and proofreading them, and having a blast doing the Afterthoughts.

I would like at some point to write more blog stories, in NEAR the future. But I have to put the time aside to actually write a new blog story. I am currently dedicated to my current writing project, which I will confess is more of a passion project that has been keeping me sane. I have a list of story ideas and one idea in particular suits my fancy enough to where I might start to write it. We shall see!

It all boils down to being motivated and actually just typing away until I have something worth sharing as a blog story. But lately on my days off, I have been sleeping in (well, 8:30am is sleeping in for me) and once I get going, I’m just not thinking clearly about anything. It’s like my everything just shuts down and what motivation I could have to write fizzles away.

And it’s been nice outside and I’m getting myself outside when I can.

Actually, if anything this blog and the last few Updates should serve as a cautionary tale for anyone who is creative and works a day job. I’m in a rut right now which sucks a lot. And if you got momentum right now, do not let anything take you off course.

I had momentum a long while back and lost it.

I miss having momentum for creative ventures. I know I can do it, it's just that annoying hurdle of “getting started” I have to cross first. And I have to do it on my own, figure out what I can do or what can stimulate me to be productive.

Well, I have a couple days off coming up and have no immediate plans on those days. I would like to write, just write, whenever I can on my time off. So, yeah, even if its on my passion project or actually writing a blog story, I am writing. Whenever I can, whenever the spirit within me has the strength and will to do it, I am writing.

Gotta write, type away, do something! I’m spirit is so dark that it has its own event horizon! Damn it! Now I know how a death metal lyricist feels like! DARKNESS IN ME, CONSUMING ME! BLAAAAAAH!

Good Luck and Write Something!

PS: To my fellow Otakus, Gomennasai, but I got nothing this week. I have been watching lots of Dr. Stone, which has been awesome and has been keeping my spirits up. But I got nothing more than that to say. Maybe I’ll have more energy for anime ranting next week.
