Another blog being written on a Wednesday but for good reason. I did it! I catalogued all of the comics for sale from my collection. And I am about to send an email to mycomicshop. This is a long list. Such a long but well worth it list. And because I’m more in the mood to share this list.

And after creepy-pasta this list into my update doc, this sucker would be 34 pages and go over 8000+ words. So, not doing the whole list. But I’m going to chop up this thing to make it more palatable. I did spend a good couple weeks on cataloging and I have not thought about anything else, not even writing. I needed to get this list done.

I would share the whole thing but the blog software I use might not be too happy with so much copy-pasta madness. So, how about this, I will share the list of DC and Marvels I am selling. And keep in mind, they are less then half of the indies I have. Actually, I’ll at least keep the indie publishers too . . . let’s see how much I can trim this down.

So, yeah, that is a lot. And that is only half. Man, when you work on something for an extended period of time and look back at how much work you have done . . . it’s a lot. I’m reminded of how rewarding writing can be and how much I can do when motivated. This comic project was worth my time because there is a chance I can finally let go half of this massive collection I have. Comics dip into two of my passions, collecting and storytelling. But I have not been interested in comics for some time. I still like watching comic book movies. I’m doing okay in life and enjoying what I enjoy.

But honestly, I feel like it’s time.

Next chance I get, I am writing. Does not matter what it is about or how long it is or whether or not I want to share it . . . I’m writing. Something, anything, whatever! Besides my blogs, it’s been over a month and a half and I have not done any proper recreational writing.

My next day off of work, writing will be happening. Finally!

PS: So, I might be reviewing comics some day. I was looking through all the comics I have and there are a lot that are genetic and boring and not worth my time. Those are the ones in the SELL list. But I kept quite a few that are ripe for snarky review fodder. And many that deserve honest analysis and critique. The quality of my KEEP list is pretty dynamic. AND! I also have plenty, plenty of graphic novels that collect many, many issues of comics I found interesting.

Anyway, I’ve always wanted to take a crack at reviewing and feel it will be interesting to do. I’ve got the material and the interest, so, something for the future.
